Class II Malocclusion with a Deep Bite This patient has a very deep overbite. An overbite is when the upper and lower teeth overlap each other too far. When you look at the photo on the left, you cannot see her lower teeth. If this overbite is left uncorrected, grinding or wearing down the lower teeth is very common as people get older.She was treated using braces and an appliance to open her bite and align the upper and lower teeth.
