Class I Malocclusion with Crowding This patient had crowding in the upper and lower arches and her upper canine teeth erupted high giving them a 'fang like' appearance. She had several decayed baby teeth. Her upper arch was constricted giving it a 'V' shaped appearance. The treatment plan consisted of removing the remaining baby teeth, expand her upper jaw with a rapid palate expander to give her upper jaw a more normal arch form, and to align the upper and lower teeth with braces.
